Manchester United made little improvement from their loss at the hands of Bournemouth in December, being held by the Cherries to a 2-2 draw to head back north with just one point.
Erik ten Hag’s side have now recorded just one win from their last seven Premier League games, sitting in seventh place in the table.

An early shot from Dominic Solanke earned the hosts the first goal of the game. Bournemouth looked to be the dominant side, with more chances created, tackles and shots on target in the first 45 minutes.
Most goals for #AFCB in a Premier League season.
Dom Solanke passes Joshua King & has now recorded 17 goals.
Hard work, class & a brilliant attitude. Dom Solanke is a special player.
On the plane this summer?

Dominic Solanke has 17 goals in the Prem.
That’s 10 more than these 3 United players: pic.twitter.com/8SqcfL5Xll

Whats with defenders loosing their feet today , Kabwalla sent slipping down by Solanke , who arrows it down loww..Solanke has more than double PL goals than any United player

United captain Bruno Fernandes was desperate to silence the critics and fought back. He secured a equalisers in both halves, but looked visibly annoyed by the lack of desire on show from his fellow teammates.
Since moving to Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes has scored more goals (52) than any other midfielder in the Premier League.
Captain fantastic.

Bruno Fernandes helped us by scoring two goals and they still hate on him. This man will never get the credit he deserves from our fanbase. pic.twitter.com/JBMfye4wWV

| Owen Hargreaves: “If it wasn’t for Bruno Fernandes, #mufc would have lost. Bournemouth dominated until Fernandes smashed their first shot on target into the roof of the net. People might complain about Bruno, but where would they be without him?” pic.twitter.com/xSC5NoV9g5

Between Fernandes’ goals, Justin Kluivert put Bournemouth 2-1 up, firing a shot into the net after being given ample time to do so by United’s defence.
Question marks remained over United’s midfield, who looked unable to fend off any attacking threat.
Justin Kluivert has now scored the same amount of Premier League goals as his dad Patrick (6).
And it only took him one more game.

That is appalling from United. There were two line-breaking passes inside a minute in each half there. The space Kluivert has is amateurish. Onana shouldn’t be getting beaten at his near post there, either. #mufc

Justin Kluivert at his effervescent best. Be interesting to see if Iraola is tempted to play him for the full 90 for the first time this season. 30 minutes to go.#afcb

There was almost a late twist when Bournemouth were awarded a 95th-minute penalty, but VAR concluded that the foul by Willy Kambwala on Ryan Christie was outside the penalty area.
That’s not a penalty, but this ref is having absolutely none of Bournemouth daring to try and get one. Small club players? Simulation? Yellow card.
— Rags (@Rags326) April 13, 2024
The contact clearly continues into the box!! Clear penalty for Bournemouth who have been absolutely robbed!!
The referees have fixed the whole game for Man United and they’ve still only got a point.

That is insane that Bournemouth didn’t get the penalty there – the contact 100% continued into the box
— hollseey (@hollseey) April 13, 2024
Bournemouth fans were left disappointed after only taking one point, offering a clear sign on the progress they have made. United fans also shared their frustrations on the lacklustre performance.
ETH has us getting outplayed by Bournemouth AGAIN! Good to see he’s not learnt from his mistakes

WANTED: A Manchester United midfield. Last seen in early 2023.
If found, return to (new) owner. #mufc
— Dominic Booth (@DomBooth19) April 13, 2024
#afcb Disappointing to only get a point. Who would have thought that for little old afcb against MUFC? We were terrific and the MoM was the team and the management. I love the way we play and look forward to more of the same. It’s a pleasure to watch you. Come on Boscombe!

Fans have continued to question Ten Hag’s future, voicing their concerns over whether he should be allowed to continue at United.
Even IF we win the FA Cup, should Erik Ten Hag remain at United?
— Emma (@UTDEmma_) April 13, 2024
I said 2 weeks ago they’ll sack Ten Hag so today doesn’t even make a difference. I’m pretty confident we’ll get Southgate as well from what I’m hearing so we’ll reap that mistake too. Players win again. And they’ll definitely be part of the next project

Erik ten Hag froze and nodded his head as the ref blew the final whistle. He knows it’s really bad now. pic.twitter.com/XqJlNsxjod
